High Pressure Spoolable Pipe

CPPFLEX™ is a Flexible Composite Pipes also known as Reinforced Thermoplastic (RTP) pipe, suitable for use across a range of applications in the Oil & Gas, Hydrogen and Water industries, with key features such as:

  • High pressure capacity
  • Corrosion free
  • Length up to 3 Km (9,842 ft) per day
  • Fully bonded wall
  • Rapid installation
  • Flexible
  • Exceptional durability

CPPFLEX™ offers a solution for a broad range of applications like

  • Produced fluids
  • Oil and gas flow- and gathering lines
  • Gas pipelines
  • Brine
  • Relining steel Pipelines
  • Environmentally sensitive areas
  • High-pressure water injection pipelines
  • Landing/ export lines
  • Well intervention
  • Water transport and distribution
  • Natural gas
  • CO2 (supercritical)
  • Multiphase fluids
  • Effluent water disposal

We have two types of CPPFLEX™ as under

Type One: Metallic Tape Reinforced RTP Pipe

This piping system combines a Thermoplastic High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)/PP inner pipe, reinforced by a helically wrapped steel cord tape, and protected by a Thermoplastic outer coating (or "jacket").

Type Two: Non-metallic Tape Reinforced RTP/TCP Pipe

This piping system combines a Thermoplastic High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)/PP inner pipe, reinforced by a helically wrapped Aramid Fiber Tape / Polyester fibre tape / Carbon fibre tape, and protected by a Thermoplastic outer coating (or "jacket").

All three layers are fused together ensuring a faultless bond. This results in a very robust, flexible, light and corrosion resistant pipe.

CPPFLEX™ is available in diameters from 2" to 8" which can withstand temperature ratings ranging up to 75°C and has high-pressure capacity with typical operating pressures up to 4,500 psi. Higher pressure ratings are also available.

CPPFLEX™ is manufactured in continuous lengths up to 1832 m (depending on pipe diameter). The pipe is flexible and is spooled onto reels which are easy and efficient to transport. The reels allow quick and easy installation, reducing installation costs by up to a third in comparison to other piping materials.
